It was launched at Nokia World on 2 September 2009 and was expected to be released on 27 September 2009 (but this date has slipped to November 2009) in the United States and December 2009 in 9 European countries.

With Maemo on your device you can start multiple chats with your Ovi, Gtalk, Skype, and other IM contacts – then from the dashboard jump between your ongoing chats in the time it takes to tap the screen.
